So it’s up to the indies and smaller studios to innovate and dream and have fun.

@[email protected] I’d get it if it was in-game, pushed to buy it, or worse forced to buy it to beat the game, but silly DLC just… existing? I can live with that.
@[email protected] I hear 9 is tighter, more constrained, and while less bright and pretty, still a fun Ys experience. Going to hold off, take a moment try some other stuff now that action JRPGs are unlocked for me then try out 9 on my Steam Deck later
@[email protected] I've been replaying OG Half-Life for the first time since it came out. It's absolutely a horror game. Trapped in a underground science lab while monster jump scare & try to kill you. Nary a soundtrack to be heard! That's horror baby!
@[email protected] right now, I just have to beat this one. I keep waiting to hit the limit of my abilities... but so far, hanging in there!
@[email protected] It’s an absolute blast! Almost acts more like a 3D RPG Metroidvania with a simple but really good story.
As a mostly turn-based player, this action game is scratching a whole different itch!
@[email protected] I know it's the "quintessential JRPG" but, DQ11 has just felt SO bland & generic, I'm pushing through, but completely unattached. =(
Walmart acting wonky, I had to make an account, bought the thing, then THEY canceled the order. So yeah, no.
Found a used physical on Ebay.
