Fractions are more accurate. You can't display 1/3 as a decimal. Americans are dumb, but this isn't an imperial versus metric thing.

For day one, performance is actually fine. I have much bigger gripes than getting fps dips in the open zones. Like levelling ffs. I have 100 strength, willpower, and blades, but am doing less damage to mobs now than I was doing in the beginning of the game. Or levelled loot drops and quests.
But Microsoft developed it in the first place. It's perfectly within their rights to pull it and developers making money off of their work isn't bad either. I love a good pitchfork to corporate, but this is honestly fine.
Git is distributed, not decentralized. It can be set up to be decentralized, but even in that case, client side, you'd push to a single remote that would sync to multiple which can be done now.
