I don't know that I'd blame Carney for this. I voted for Trump, but let's be fair: this policy wasn't new, it's only going into effect next month after being approved by Trudeau. It also is completely fair, as it taxes American companies the same rate as Canadian companies.

IDK, I think people think if they don't like the characters, the show isn't good. The only shows I've seen where people disliked the main characters but still liked the show were literally the best things I've ever seen, like Succession.

I actually thought the show was good. Most of the criticism is about Ironheart being unlikeable, which is true, but it doesn't make the show bad, nor does it make Ironheart a poorly written or bad character.

I like Pat McAfee and his show is really fun, but I don't see how this makes sense for Netflix. I don't think copying him directly, especially with his style, will work in general, and I think Pat McAfee on ESPN works so well because it's a perfect marriage of longform talk and new media.

Putting Joe Rogan on Spotify is different than putting a sports podcast on Netflix because people don't really go to Netflix for talk shows, and when they do, they go there for polished replacements of broadcast shows and cable events.

I think it makes more sense to ban phones but give fans exclusive access to videos shot by the artists' team from the concert to download or post once the concert is done.

There is some value to artists for fans to post videos from their concert on social media, but it throws off the vibe of the actual concert.
