The scammers. Imagine being some dude at a sketch marketing firm who just bought a handful of high karma, organic accounts and were about to start advertising. I can't imagine the good quality ones are cheap. Turns out they're worth nothing now.
@bluGill but like is this what the other not-so-smart of my friends are seeing? Is this why they all have Confederate flag stickers and shit? This isn't really ok, there's nobody to tell normal people to just block groups, this is making people into extremists.
Yeah it's weird, but it's somebodies good fun. I'm not into it but hell, if they are have at it. No need to get angry about it.
Which is hilarious. I find lots of shit weird and try to wank off to it the best I can but I never get angry at it. It's an irrational anger for some reason. I know a dude who feels the same about trans people but I know he's dabbled in weird shit like gay and scat stuff before. He still is like crazy against anything gender-bending.
It's literally all absolutely terrible shit and the worst of humanity, is this what other people see? Any other online space I visit isn't like this.
Don't know about that guy but I use a RasPi 4 with a four bay laptop drive toaster. Four terabyte drives and it works great for streaming to multiple devices.

Maybe he's a willing scapegoat for the board with a promised golden parachute? I just can't think of how somebody can get that far and be so tone deaf.
No like even today, if he came out with an honest apology video and offered to work with devs on a reasonable API price plan he could still mostly recover and keep all the low effort users.
But for some reason he's hell bent on actually crashing the community. Even the lurkers are starting to jump ship. It's either sociopathic narcissism or a high school shaped ego, but he just can't let it go.
My wife actually works for a packaging supplier for grocery stores, butchers, and restaurants. She has spearheaded an initiative to bring in alternative options like PVA based bags, bamboo takeout containers, etc. They cost a couple cents more than the plastic stuff so none of their customers are on board.
To be fair, dictatorships and communism is amazing if you have the right leader. It's just never happened before. It probably never will.
