And a bumper sticker to forget about speed cameras.

Now I want a rubber stamp with that to prevent whatever from being scanned.

What do you exactly mean by audio driver?

[–] quediuspayu 1 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

And why it just started now after a fresh install? I didn't have this problem a week ago when I was using windows, and I don't remember having this issue two years ago when I was using Mint.

What do you mean? Like the speakers? I have the line out connected to an amplifier. But that hasn't changed in years. This fade in problem started now after a fresh install.

After a few seconds of no sound playing when it starts again it does a fade in starting quiet and getting louder in a span of one second or second and a half.

Aside of being annoying, that part is less important, it has the problem of muting all notification sounds that are too short.

I've read that is something about power savings.

Another thing I've noticed from right wing populists is the language. They usually talk more like regular people as opposed to left wing either populist or not that the language is more uppity.

I've spent way too many hours trying to figure this out through forum posts.

As far as I could gather there was a configuration file that could be edited but now that configuration file is nowhere to be seen so I need to create that file but I'm not sure what to pun in that file.

The other problem is that all forum posts that talk about editing a configuration file is for something called Pulse and some forum posts mention that Mint doesn't use that anymore, so back to 0.

How crazy expensive is america? One million is like thirty years of minimum wage salary before taxes in Spain. I bet I could manage to retire at 45 with that kind of money.

To play a game versus watching a movie, or something in between like a choose your own adventure book?

If greed doesn't get fixed first, it doesn't matter what system is used.

Is this real? Is this another case of "whatever those people say I will oppose"?

It is possible, I've done it myself. I had two dead torrents with 0 seeders that I really suspected were the exact same thing, so one day I changed the destination folders to point at the same place, it worked.

What I don't think I did is to have both torrents active at the same time while downloading.

EDIT: I'm rephrasing some sentences Edit2: I gave up.

I just installed Fedora and to my surprise I can't use my NAS.

Through a SMB share I can see everything easily enough through GUI but I can't open any file, then I tried NFS.

With NFS I followed many tutorials to mount the shared folders, each one slightly different than the previous one, some told me to mount at /var/folder some told me to mount at /mnt/folder. I don't understand the difference. Anyway, now I know how to mount and how to put it in fstab so everything gets mounted on boot, not ideal but I can live with that.

What every single tutorial fails to say is that I can only access those shares as administrator and every time I want to open any file I have to type my password.

What I am missing here?

This tutorial is the one I finally followed

I was interested in making my own ink so I can have any colour I want.
I dissolved some oil paint in machine oil, in my first tries I used universal machine oil but it was too thick, so I tried sewing machine oil that was much thinner. That worked much better but it was still a bit too thick so I was having some trouble "making it run" along the ribbon, so I used lighter fluid as a thinner. It worked great.
I eyeballed everything so I can't give proportions of the ingredients, in a future more serious attempt I plan to take some measurements.

It's been a month and still hasn't dried on the ribbon and types well.

Down sides:
I still haven't found a good method for putting the ink on the ribbon, I put a pair of gloves and use my fingers so it gets a bit messy and it is slow.
The other down side was that didn't take into account that there was old ink on the ribbon that darkened my brown ink so much that looks mostly black.

Thin machine oil
