What until you hear about the war crimes of authoritarians. Just recently we have Assad gassing his own people, Russia stealing children, stealing land, and filling mass graves in Ukraine, Saudi Arabia murdering a journalist with a hacksaw. Bush may have started an illegitimate war, but the US military is comparatively very good when it comes to avoiding civilian casualties.

Yeahhhhh, having a failing power grid ain't great for tech, banning abortion doesn't make tech workers happy, plus the myriad of other issues. I can see why their state is losing tech workers.

It took me so long to learn the IMF is a profit driven private organization, which is wild. I wish it was a UN run public organization to help uplift nations in economic trouble.

Yeah, people don't talk about it, but it's sooo hard for average Americans to justify a full EV.

If you want to travel long distances, 30 minutes for 70% range every few hours is rough. If you don't own a home, figuring out how to charge at your apartment is tough, if you do own a home, having to drop thousands on an electrician on top of thousands in car down payment is tough. Also, the average EV is like $5k more than the average car, and the average car is already like $48k, which is insane.

My girlfriend and I are thinking of getting a Chevy bolt to share, but we still have to save for the electrician costs.

Especially with how conservative Ukraine is being with it's troops and it's counter attacks. There have been a number of reports of their tactics being based around attriting the Russians while keeping their own troops alive.

That's fair and probably true also!

Dude above did specify in VR though, and I agree. Forget playing anything in VR below 60.

US fighter jets from the 70s to 90s have fairly similar general layouts compared to one another. I can't imagine they'd get anything besides the F16 though from us since it's relatively affordable, maintainable, exportable, and really good.
