I bet they don special PPE, and socially distance back at home after they've visited. And not just since COVID.

This. This is my favourite take on the whole conundrum.

It is worth noting that 0.01% of bacteria do not survive because the alcohol is ineffective; but because they were fortunate enough to avoid contact. Under nails, between folds in skin, under microscopic imperfections within the creases and scars on your hands, etc. Full coverage to the human eye does not equate to absolute coverage on a microscopic level.

Not OP, but thank you for taking the time to explain :)

Can highly recommend the vanilla, although the good stuff isn't terribly frugal. When feeling lavish, I can also recommend basting both sides of the bread in egg mix, and buttering the pan instead. Then re-butter the pan before flipping (remove, wipe, butter, replace on flipside).

Serve with sprinkle of sugar, and a generous twist of juice from a garden lemon. drools

Have used both casually, agree Kdenlive is more versatile once you get past a few UI quirks. Latest version has some neat audio filters; good for removing background noise or distortion from poscasts/webinars etc.

Not a single co-worker of mine would even understand what Reddit was. Some would be familiar with the word - in much the same way that I'm aware there is something called what's app, but have never actually seen it - and like New Zealand, it may as well not even be there.

It was always going to happen, and the best time to shit the bed, is when you've already wet yourself, because the sheets have to be changed anyway, right?

Spent the day installing light switches that I've had sitting in the garage for a year. Pruned some shrubs, burned some leaves, raked some gravel, touched grass, etc. Almost never posted on Reddit. Full time lurker. Enjoying contributing to Lemmy just for the sakes of user interaction :) Let's stoke the fire!!
