https://www.noracooks.com/chickpea-tuna-salad/

i was having sad subway tuna cravings (subway tuna isnt even good) and gf recommended this recipe to me. i skipped some of the optional ingredients just to make it more nostalgic for me, but i didn't skip the nori. i found the full teaspoon of salt was a little too much, and of course i missed the mercury that is present in the real thing (this last bit is a joke)

edit: also skipped the relish as we couldnt find any that wasnt sweet

also I don't like that one litre = 1 millibucket meaning 1000 L = 1 bucket. To be fair though, I think a cubic space of a meter can hold a lot more than a litre of water.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Litre

It is equal to 1 cubic decimetre (dm3), 1000 cubic centimetres (cm3) or 0.001 cubic metres (m3). A cubic decimetre (or litre) occupies a volume of 10 cm × 10 cm × 10 cm (see figure) and is thus equal to one-thousandth of a cubic metre.

oh god oh fuck he's right there really is 1000 L in a cubic meter ... I find that so hard to believe honestly, I'm gonna need a tank and a garden hose and uhh a plausible explanation for the water company

One litre of liquid water has a mass of almost exactly one kilogram, because the kilogram was originally defined in 1795 as the mass of one cubic decimetre of water at the temperature of melting ice (0 °C).[5] Subsequent redefinitions of the metre and kilogram mean that this relationship is no longer exact.

also sad that this is no longer exact high school teachers are crying

if gregtech new horizons is so realistic how can steam (presumably 100 degrees) go into a magic box and turn fully formed ignots of copper and tin (much higher melting points I think) into bronze. edit: the magic box is also bronze, so that's even more confusing, wouldn't it melt if the steam could get hot enough to form bronze?

explain that, Greg! oh no, in response to my question he just changed a vanilla recipe to require 8 steps, 3 tools, steel screws and a bucket of concrete

I do really like the pack though

yeah I made chickpea "tuna" salad this week and was surprised at first to see nori in the recipe, but it was so good, and of course it makes sense
