Hey everyone!

As many of you know, this has been a pretty "fly by the seat of your pants" kind of experience at Lemmy.graphics. A lot of you have been super patient and supportive and I truly appreciate it.

I'm at a point in my life where it's getting increasingly hard to stay on top of managing this server. I'm working full-time, going to grad school full-time, and raising a family. As much as I'd love to continue admin-ing this instance, I think I need to start looking for someone (or someones) who are willing to take over and help the community grow.

If you're interested, please reach out to me! I'm happy to help transfer the VPS over to a new host or account and get everything up and running, but will continue to manage everything as best I can in the meantime. This was a really hard decision for me to make, but I think it's the right one in the long run.

Thanks for making this such a cool experience!

What kind of problems do you specifically run into?

I’ve been playing around with pixel art lately so I created a community for people to share theirs! Check it out at c/pixelart!

Just a little monster character I made for a 2D game I’m working on for my kids.

I created a new community for news and discussions about Generative AI at c/genai. This is not meant to be an AI art gallery. Instead, it should be a place for discussions, news, and (respectable) debates about the topic. I’ve already pre-populated the community with some links I’ve found interesting over the past few months - go join and have fun!
