Remember, it's not an all-or-nothing situation, every step you take away from google helps. And you can always reevaluate later, and take time to figure out what works best for you.

You can run multiple user profiles on one phone to isolate apps like Google Maps.

These apps are not interested in finding you a good partner, they are solely interested in you continuing to use the app

People keep years worth of browser history, until finding something in there becomes harder than searching the web. I see no use for that either, but everyone I've asked insisted they need it. They couldn't really spell out why either

Microsoft locked my account (one week after forcing me to migrate from my Mojang account), and they require a phone number for "verification". They don't have anything to verify against however. So if someone malicous had gained access to my account, they could just enter their own number and the account is theirs to keep I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Den Trekker fährt man ja nur ein paar Tage im Frühjahr/Herbst spazieren, der Rest des Jahres ist eher aufm Hof rumwerkeln und Papierkram am Schreibtisch
