Why would we assume they rolled their own flight controller rather than just using ardupilot in the first place? This whole war has been fought with regular tech

Because gender roles are actually still a thing and (most) women won't approach strange men in parks.

At a party? Different story. Ideally smaller ones with mutual friends

In Germany, employees with an approved sick note will receive 100% of their salary for up to six weeks, and after that will be paid 70% until fit to work.
