I don't like them in pretty much any game. It's too stressful for me. That said, I still happen to enjoy a lot of games in spite of the feature (like Persona).

I think I can see where it might be a worthwhile thought experiment for them insofar as it helps to create an understanding of creating things for the use and betterment of society as a whole. Taking the argument in good faith though idk who this is.
For Minecraft specifically Prismlauncher is really good.

You are fine. They are just two different types of storage devices. The names are the way they interface with the motherboard. Since there is nothing on the laptop, you have nothing to lose by experimenting. I would choose the pcie drive. It should be faster, and it has more space on it.
