Immediate escalation like that is snitching as far as I’m concerned.
If the teacher had tried reaching out to you multiple times with no response or a negative experience I could see escalation as the right route, but managers shouldn’t be used as the primary line of communication like this.
I highly doubt that happens. Not to be negative, but I don’t think people his age normally change for the better. The fact that he has moved away from the movement he helped create says a lot. I don’t know if he is committed to anything other than living out his days like a member of the silent generation.
That’s gonna be an expensive McDonald’s order.
