Things were going okay for a while. She stopped throwing rocks at the pigeons, and no more Maoist slogans appeared on the walls.

However, it all started to fall apart due to an argument with the neighbor that I still don't quite get. Our neighbor is very nice, he has been a communist for his entire life. He lives alone and is a senior. We share a fence between our houses, and he decided he wanted to paint it. I told him I would help, but when my girlfriend came home she started losing it, calling both of us "revisionist traitors" and then denounced us for "de-varnishification".

I was able to cool things down for a bit, but then our neighbor had an old friend over. It turns out this guy worked at the post office during Nixon's administration. She found out and hand delivered an 80 page long critique of his friend, the fence, his house, and god knows what else. Apparently anyone who worked for the federal government at this time was an "anti-communist traitor who destroyed proletarian internationalism", and I was never to be trusted again for defending that.

We've booked an appointment at a couples therapist to try to work it out. She was opposed to the idea, but I told her it was like a formal struggle session. But I am worried she'll be bringing fruits and vegetables to throw at me.

She prefers the term "capitalist roader"

We've been through this before. I had to wear the hat and plaque. It didn't help our relationship one bit

I wish this was a bit

What did the pigeons do to deserve this!?

We are still together and things calmed down for a bit. There is now a moratorium on discussing China and we have painted over the Maoist slogans on the walls so my parents could visit without seeing it.

But yesterday I came home and she was outside throwing rocks at birds. I asked why, and she told me "the sparrows are bourgeois". Her victims were pigeons.

After I pointed this out she called me a "lysenkoist". I'm truly at a loss for words here.

I'm hoping that us resolving our problems results in the success of the global proletariat and final end to sectarianism

Here is pt 1: https://hexbear.net/post/248033

So my girlfriend came back from her trip with her French Maoist friends. Apparently they trashed the place, failed at some action and disbanded. She closed her Jiang Qing fan page, but started a May 68 one with a Guy Debord fan cam.

I tried to bring up some of the points people suggested but she wouldn't listen and started to call me a "Castroist" instead and telling me to "read Reich". At least it's not "Revisionist" (in a French accent for some reason) anymore.

Later on that day I was trying to get her to help me with house chores but she started to call me a "landlord bastard" (we're renters).

I don't think this is going to work out...

I'll ask when I see her next. Her parents are gone for a bit so she is going to their house with her group of French Maoist friends.

It was a gift from her parents (who are wealthy but that's another story).

I found out my girlfriend has a Jiang Qing fan page and she keeps calling me a capitalist roader. I've been trying to explain the benefits of socialism with Chinese characteristics, but she just laughs at me and yells "REVISIONIST" anytime I bring it up.

What should I do?

Edit: thanks to those of you who took this seriously. Her parents are on vacation so she is heading to their house with a group of her French Maoist friends. We will see how our next conversation goes when she is back.
