I've just recently setup an immich server and it's working great. The mobile syncing works and updates are coming very frequently. Makes a great drop in replacement for Google photos. It even has a memories feature now.

I would argue the opposite, in that monetary compensation enables the creator to put in the time and effort required to make a product with high quality. Without monetary support in a capitalist system, they are forced to spend their time doing other meaningless work to eat, and can't spend the time they want on the project their passionate about.
Looking at the current state of Hollywood, the drive to make a profit is actually ruining movies for me in the past 5 years. Full of bad writing and old remakes of remakes trying to get money from old IP. Nothing new or original has been written for some time and it's getting old.
Facebook has an official.onion domain and it's the only way I access it, as it's required for my employer.
EVs are much heavier than ICE cars of the same size and wear roads faster so more funding will be needed to maintain everything. Walkability/cycling and PT are the way forward
It's usually a number of different data points about your browser like the user agent string that identifies what browser you use and what OS, screen resolution, language settings, timezone, whether or not you use and adblocker etc... and of course IP addresses
The purpose of salt in cooking is as a flavour enhancer. It brings out the other flavours that already exist in the food. Salt is not a flavour. It's why a lot of recipes call for salt to taste, as how much you add can vary a bit. Next time you cook something that tastes a bit dull, try adding a small amount of salt and note what it does to the flavours as you add more. If it tastes "salty" you probably added too much.

Hello from aussie.zone
NewPipe for android is still working. Much better than the official app IMO, no ads and it actually shows the videos you subscribed to.
