@[email protected] Maybe they are. Perhaps these are actually tiny little portals. They just didn't count on the fact that everything is bigger in this universe than in theirs.

@[email protected] I had that game back in the day. (Technically that means I still do unless they changed their "once you buy it you own it for life" policy, but I don't even have the e-mail account or anything.) I actually enjoyed walking around out of town and exploring, which I got the impression they didn't think we would do much of on our own. It's too bad the game is so heavily balanced for groups though...

@[email protected] I still think you have to play Empyrion and maybe Space Engineers!

@[email protected] There is something satisfying about building in these types of games isn't there?

@neatchee I feel like you could possibly do this with a mod to Medieval Dynasty, lol.

@[email protected] For me the most fun kind of is in that. But I apply an extra limitation to myself. They can never see me.

But you might want to remember that leaving the city nothing but a pile of corpses has consequences in Dishonored. This is one game where a billy club might just be better than a dagger for stealth.

@[email protected] I'll give it a look, but I'm bad about actually initiating conversations in new places. (I know that sounds weird in online stuff...)

@[email protected] Oh yeah, we may have discussed it before.

I swear I have a memory. I just, uh, forgot where I put it.

Hey, if you ever want to multiplayer with it I'd be happy to show you the ropes!

@[email protected] It's a rather different type of game, but I wonder how you might feel about Empyrion. There are NPCs and such, but there is definitely a whole lot less going on and a whole lot more just you out there doing whatever. (It has more focus on combat and a whole lot of building of stuff though, so that may or may not be your thing.)

@MHLoppy Oh wow... I haven't heard this in so long...

It's very good!

I should really be listening to more of Mumei's covers. Just... I have a bad kneejerk against anyone with big money backing them, lol. But there are exceptions! Mumei should be one of those exceptions for me.

@[email protected] It wasn't for quite some time earlier. It finally did when I saw this notification just now, but that's a good reminder that such things take a while to propagate.

Even just a simple repetition of the title is better than nothing since you can't be sure the preview scrape has loaded yet.

Does anyone know if there is a way to make the Web browser (Firefox-based in my case) ignore audio volume control commands coming from a site? Youtube has its automatic levels thing that it's forcing on me and I can't even disable it. (It's disabled and grayed out, but still happening.) Every time I open a new video it has changed the application volume to what they've arbitrarily decided is correct (but meanwhile the player in the page is still set to 100%.) I have a volume control I can reach with ease, so I don't need their "help."

I know there is an extension or a script to disable Youtube doing this, but it is my understanding that we have to use as few extensions as possible to reduce fingerprinting...
