To be clear, the psl's solution is not to "do nothing", it's to overthrow the capitalist government and do massive state investment in solar, wind and other renewables.

PSL are not trots. PSL supports Cuba, Vietnam, China and the historical USSR.
PSL did branch from a trot organization, which might be why you think this. This is because most surviving leftist organizations in America post WW2 redscare were trot organizations.

The thing that was removed from the game, was a lore entry talking about how china has expanded into the "Uyghur, Tibet, Inner Mongolia, Mongolia and Siberia" regions, and that the native populations have been decreasing.

The specific names of the territories have been removed, but the snippet still says that china is expanding into indigenous regions and "decreasing" their population.
