Burgerlander here. Spent some time in Calpe a few years ago and I remember driving by Benidorm and just thinking, "what the fuck is that monstrosity...". I then learned it's a totally fabricated city built just for these Brits and Germans and they're just sloppy drunk there all the time. I did not visit. It looked so out of place with skyscrapers on the coast.

My parents used to take me to Hooters all the time. I remember hula hooping with the waitresses. What a strange fucking thing.

It got better. This last season was pretty damn good, so sucks it's cancelled now.

I'm on that Mindset grindset. The Red Shoes was so damn good. Powell's Peeping Tom is a favorite of mine, but hadn't seen Red Shoes until a couple weeks back. Electra Glide in Blue and Pat Garrett were also new viewings for me and they were great too. I'm on Scheider week now.
