Get rid of the dGPU power comsumption at all costs, as it's underpowered for anything serious.

Enable Intel AMT so that you get hardware level remote control, including power control.

Afet that it's a now-weak power-hungry CPU with weak cooling, but a decent amount of RAM, so, IDK, a buildserver or a VM host for scenarios when something needs to happen in the background, but latency doesn't matter.

There’s something really weird going on here: you can’t do math without imagining that the cryptic symbols on the page “mean” something, that they “represent” actual “objects” that “exist” and “have properties”

Please kindly stop extrapolating your unfitness to do your job onto the others.

It only gets worse from there.

What you're saying, it's tolerated for no good reason but buying into propaganda. I'm not saying it's not tolerated, I'm saying there's no reason it should be. Maybe it's easier to see when we're not talking US. For example, there's a shitton of people from my country fighting knees-deep in another country precisely because this is what the government currently tolerates and rewards. Will the average person view them as dangerous unhinged murderers a decade later, when the iron grip weakens and the societal norms shift? That's the neat part, the answer is a resounding yes, because it's already happening, well in advance.

*groan*

What's great about F-Droid is them rebuilding everything and automatic syndication. What's wrong with F-Droid is their idiotic manual signing practice roughly twice a week, which they claim increases security when it only harms it. It the title is right and this new service hand-picks the apks weekly while not doing shit about their correspondence to the source code, this is the worst of both worlds.

The entire article feels like very desperate twisting of how her entire academic circle tried to communicate to her that rebutting this paper belongs into a separate work and not her dissertation.

Yes, but unironically. If you've got out of a basement and into public education, by the 18 you're supposed to know you shouldn't steal or kill, even if someone tricked you into that. You do that after 18, you land into jail and it's entirely on you. If you accept this, you also logically have to accept that those who got enlisted deserved it.

So, is this finally time to give up the 1.5 party system and promote/vote independent? One party has fallen out of favor, another one is on track to do the same, now the first one joins in the nosedive...

When I suggested it last year, I was called a Russian troll who tries to win more votes for Trump or something. The fucker won anyway. What's your excuse now?

Only if you pay.

If you have a problem with setting up half a dozen services, it is still a problem with configuring half a dozen services, meaning you need a better service configurator. Solving it on a wrong level by cramming them into a single binary is just wrong.

Use nixos-mailserver =)

Minding privacy and driving a car in 2025 is like jumping up because you realize you forgot to water your plants right after you've clicked the euthanasia button.

Voting for people first instead of policies is a strong contender.

Yeah, but so do most of humans.

The reason we won't have AGI anytime soon is not because machines are limited, it's because we don't have NGI.
