Swipe commands. Right to left short swipe is comment.

Left to right short swipe is upvote, long swipe is downvote.

I’m convinced it’s an instance issue. My Traverse tab works perfectly fine for my .world account but my lemm.ee account has basically nothing in it - and I methodically made the two match so I have my same feed in case one or the other instance is acting up.

Edit: something isn’t playing nice, I don’t know what’s causing it but because it’s different depending on instance I feel like that’s the key.

On the feed screen, top right can change your feed - all, local and subscribed are the options.

I was about to say it’s a weird light mode glitch because time is there in dark, but actually I can see the top bar in light too.

Which version are you on? App Store or TestFlight? I’m on the beta and it’s correct for me so maybe it was one of the bugs fixed between submission to the App Store and approval and the update is going to be pushed soon to fix.

They’ll probably get mad that people can take their ball and go home by going to another instance without ads and signing away access to all of their personal data but get the same content. If they defederate, to me that’s the trash taking itself out.

For #1 - that’s the instance lagging, this was happening to me on lemmy.world over the weekend constantly but when I switched to a not-bogged-down instance I haven’t had this issue. I think Gavin and the team are working on more clear error notifications to clarify what went wrong but that JSON error happens when the instance is straining.

Go to profile - accounts - change account settings and there should be a delete account button there.

If you have the TestFlight version, Gavin will still be pushing updates there first, but if you want the stable releases only, feel free to go to the App Store.

If you want to rate the app, you can’t do it with a TestFlight version so you have to go to the App Store version to rate it, but you can switch back after.

This must be one of the fixes the dev team made between App Store submission and approval because my TestFlight version has the links available and opens YouTube. This fix will likely be in the next App Store push, I think Gavin said tonight or tomorrow so hopefully publishing will be soon.

Hey cod, yeah we’ve been pestering poor Gavin and Sean and Teflo and everyone else for weeks, but this is a huge milestone day!

Really? That’s too bad, I recommend sending a bug report via GitHub so the dev team can fix that.

I don’t know if this is in the App Store version, but if you put in community@instance it’ll pull up communities even if your instance doesn’t know about it yet (this might not be in the App Store version, it’s new).

If that isn’t there yet, if your instance doesn’t know about it yet you still have to go to the web to force federation.

If your instance knows about the community, the search tab will find it and there’s a subscribe button there.
