Interesting. I’ve been thinking about something like this for instances that use PeerTube. People could donate storage to PeerTube instances.

AirVPN looks a bit “old”, but it has better support on Linux afaik.

You can't specifically donate to PeerTube.wtf. I don't want the services to be dependent on donations. I pay everything from my own pockets and donations help offset the expenses.
PeerTube.wtf is by far the most expensive, compared to Lemmy.wtf and it will certainly also be the case for Pixelfed.wtf, once I have that up and running. When PeerTube.wtf will need its storage upgrade, I think I will be looking at an expense around 400EUR :D

Nej, men jeg synes bare at vi allerede har så mange overflader hvor solpanelerne kan blive installeret i stedet for og så kan man plante noget natur på markerne i stedet.

Otherwise, the UX experts need to step up and volunteer their services, just like programmers do when they create FOSS.
What problem does Peertube solve beyond not being Youtube?
Content creators can be in total control of their content and the platform, while still being able to reach the wider audience on the Fediverse.
There’s also features such as being able to replace an already uploaded video and for some, they would be happy not having to play the “algorithm game”.
Doesn’t work with all yet though. At least not on iOS 😭
