I recently discovered the Spellbound design and I'm moderately obsessed with it and can't look at any rough without wanting to cut it in that design. This would be lovely in it 😱

I love the idea of this beauty being turned into a set of stones. The three stones don't even have to be identical sizes, it could be a larger pendant-worthy stone and pair of earrings to complement it. I would kill for a citrine that matches in color with the ones my grandfather left behind, so I could make earrings to go with the necklace I made with them.

I've been knitting for a decade but only made my first pair of socks during the pandemic. I bought some wool from a reputable seller in fun colors. It was so fun and they were so comfy, I made several more.

I almost never wear anything other than my knitted socks these days. They're just so daggone comfy and they keep my feet warm yet they never feel sweaty, except on extremely hot days when I'm outdoors.

Wool socks are absolutely luxurious to me now. 10/10 recommend knitting socks if you haven't already!

Oh man, I could use some good videos on how to charge laps, I am so concerned I'm probably overdoing it when I do mine. I will check him out!

Universal consensus is that I need a 3k lap, so I guess I'll be buying one soon! Thanks for the advice! 🙏

Thank you! I think I will try the Lightning Lap 3k, general consensus from everyone here is that 3k makes a difference.

I will say that the CeOx on Darkside is quite good, but it can't totally make up for a shit prepolish. If I can set it up for success with a better prepolish I think I'll be much happier with my process. Hopefully LL saves the day!

Thanks for the advice! It seems the overwhelming theme here is I need a nice 3k lap. I might try Lightnings Laps to see how they do.

I know I'm nowhere near this point, but how does an end-of-life lap behave? Does it just polish slower, or start to polish unevenly, or...?

I think I got lucky when I chose to buy the Gearloose starter kit because it is REALLY top notch and easy to use. I'm not going to lie, I get weirdly excited to prepolish on that zinc+ with 8k pandimonium in particular. It's so fine it's actually hard for me to confirm my final polish is complete on the smaller facets because the prepolish is so smooth. 😂

I'm working my way through Andrew Brown's cuts right now myself, and this one is on my list! Your stone is stunning, I'm even more excited to try this shape out now.

Some dishes freeze well, so those leftovers can be turned into future meal prep. I liked freezing my chili in silicone muffin tins, then one or two thawed chili pucks was a perfect last-minute meal when I didn't feel like cooking.
