yeah – and some games even behave better when mediated via proton's wine (fallout 76 for example doesn't lose sound output completely just because you switch between speakers and headphones, which was one of my greatest annoyances with the game).

lobsters are, frankly, deeply unserious site with laughingly bad moderation; you can freely write “debian has grown an apparatchik class”, and this is an acceptable language, but calling the author of the comment “a libertarian bro who uses words they don't understand” causes the reply to be moderated.
