I just imagined a caretaker/servant seeing a tired Putin late at night, asking him if he was sleepy and offering him tea. Putin accepts tea and the servant returns to the kitchen to prepare the tea. The servant is immediately thrown out the kitchen window.

Could be 2 people shooting at each other. Could be 1 shooter and 1 "good guy" with a gun trying to stop the shooter. Could be 2 shooter working together. Could be loud sound mistaken for gunfire and then 2 "good guys" try to save the day and shoot at each other.
In my opinion these are in order of most to least likely.

I doubt there is a definitive answer if this is the first one they found. Considering it's native to warm weather areas I doubt it would become invasive in Northern England. They did say it seemed to be doing poorly.

I know with the Apple headset you can be in a "world" where you can still see you surroundings. Its a video feed of your surroundings so obviously you would not want to drive while doing it and I don't know the range. But maybe what they were trying to do is have a small screen with a video or to be charitable, Apple maps open in a corner of their vision while still having a full view of the world.
Again, I'm not saying I trust the technology for this purpose but having your GPS directions, semi transparent on a HUD would be really cool.

The best suggestion I have seen is to have a specific report category for CSAM. If a post is reported for CSAM x number of times, the post is hidden for moderator review. If it is a false report, the mod bans the reporting accounts.
Another issue is that post links can be edited. Trolls will definitely use this feature for abuse.

What you are describing is inflation going down. Things going back to pre-pandemic prices would be deflation. With the government targeting 2% inflation in an ideal situation, deflation is not going to happen.
