The problem with chameleoning is that it sometimes takes a while to calibrate when meeting a stranger for the first time, so you’re just confused. It can also be overwhelming when meeting with multiple strangers at the same time.

It has effect! People are buying less American.

According to Systembolaget (the liquor monopoly of Sweden), there has been a drop in sales of American liquor by 17% this year. This is likely caused by boycotts after the tariffs introduced against Europe.

Long term, this may have an effect on which goods they buy in.
