When this whole mess started, I dropped it by deleting my accounts. I've clicked on a link maybe two times going there and did check out a local sports team's sub once last week but actively avoid it most of the time.
Driven away by ideologues. How do you think that will really play out in the long term?

It's definitely straight-up state censorship. Somehow the party of freedom and free speech don't mind when it's enforcing their ideology.
I'm also concerned with magazines that have absentee owner/moderators.
