Whenever I see these types of mnemonic devices I think of Community and Pierce: https://youtu.be/EAy58a8qqDI

What people don't understand about this movie is that: it isn't about just knowing Ultron's age, it's the journey.

Yeah but it's slowly going off. How much do you want for it?

It's just All Lives Matter again isn't it? They don't care, they just want you to stop talking about it.

I LOVE Christopher Nolan because of his artistry and him putting out original movies and all that. Seriously though, me not being able to understand the dialog in his films is so weird. I think people say it's tuned for certain cinemas and I'm watching it in the wrong ones? I don't know about that but it makes for a shitty experience for someone that does still go to the cinema.

I usually Google whether fishing is necessary. I think for FF15 and Sea of Stars it wasn't so I didn't bother.

I think the monorail passes by in the background a few times during this exchange too.

A lot of these "grifters" or "commentators" and stuff aren't really there to interpret news and stuff. They're there to tell certain groups of people what to think.

Like pass talking points to them or assuage their doubts about what's really happening to them. Accuracy and stuff is an afterthought because they only need to worry about the next news cycle which used to be months but is now days.

Sounds like the Joe Rogan Experience.

lol, Twitch dude. Ex-Blizzard, Indie dev, ferret dude. You may know something about him even if you don't think you do ... his dad was the South Park WoW episode antagonist killing all those players. I think his dad was a cinematic dude and they liked him and put him in as that guy.

He's made statements I've definitely disagreed with about preserving games and apparently questionable behaviour with playing WoW. There's been a lot of controversy where he's made a reply video with all the drama. I'm not gonna lie, I watched a few points and I didn't really know or care about a lot of it so stopped a quarter of the way in.

I think anyone that doesn't like him because of what he's done is right to do so ... I'll just still catch him every now and again. I mean if I find out he supports genocide or the Trump admin I'll change my mind.

I dunno. I watch Vaush, I watch Hasan. I watch Sam Seder. Please don't kill me but I watch some of PirateSoftware too (yes I know how much Lemmy hates him).

I'm not gonna defend their views, I can't/won't. I generally wanna hear their takes from their perspectives (as flawed as they could be).

I also don't see that even if I disagree with their views that I'd want to say negative things about them being detained as I don't think any of them have asked for it? Like, I'd be cheering if Joe Rogan got detained and bullied. The reason being he endorsed this type of stuff so it's sweet watching someone get a taste of their own medicine.

I remember having that moment! Not with the gorilla but my friend treated women poorly, nothing physically abusive or nothing but he cheated on many of them.

I then told my friend, "yeah, but he's still a good guy". I mean, he was to me ... and if you're not in a relationship with him he's fun? :P

I kinda stopped staying friends with these guys. They're toxic to be around.

I even had a friend that told me he was abusive to his girlfriends and I'm like, dude I really think you wanna be the man your daugthers look up to. But he kept it going and I couldn't chill with him any more.
