Yeah im probably wrong, i might have confused poppinkream with the guy who posted on publicfreakout all the time since I spent a lot of time on that sub too.

You’re the only user I ever followed over on reddit, glad to come across you once again.

It feels like theres some astroturfing going on. I just cant believe so many people are ok with federating with facebook. It shouldn't even be a debate,

Thats it though, if everyone watched some of that when they start driving maybe they would be more careful. Probably good for some and bad for some.

Like in the machinist world its good to see the videos and pictures of the accidents.

Maybe I remember that sub through rose tinted glasses but i dont remember it hating people for being fat. The negative traits being hated on were things that fit a stereotype that happens to exist among people who are more likely to be fat.

Its probably good it doesn't exist anymore, there were some really well written stories though, it was like the bad roommates sub.

I miss watchpeopledie, it was humbling.

Anyone know how to save a post on kbin? I’ve been rooting around and haven’t been able to figure it out.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Communities on lemmy, magazines on kbin. They’re the same thing. Instance is the server you join to view and interact with the magazines and communities. Your instance is like a small chunk of the fediverse pie. With our powers combined we are a federated pizza in a box with the lid open. Sometimes some olives may fall off but they’re usually still in the box.

I like a little bit a salt on my beans.

I was too harsh. I understand the motivation to filter posts you can’t read but it’s not like the posts are ads or some kind of negative content. It’s a typical American thing to do.

Why aren’t people asking about translators being added so they can read the posts instead?

What would happen if everyone downvoted everything when sorting by new on Reddit?
