1st the minimum wage absolutely should be raised to a livable amount, but I have some questions and comments about your numbers.

Averages are bad to use as a measure, they are heavy skewed by the top outliers, median is a much better measure.

If you are trying to recover to a target average, the minimum wage would be below the average, that's how averages work.

I'm trying to figure out where 72k comes from. 1k for rent (Yes I can find 1 bdrm in the city I live near that price), 150 gas/electric, 50 Water/trash, 100 internet, 250 food, 400 transportation, 500 health insurance all adds up to 29k a year.

The late 50s was still under 50% car ownership, a cheep car today is still around 20k.

For your gas, you have it at $5 a gallon for today, national average according to AAA is $3.132

In general a lot of the numbers you have don't seem to make sense.

rookie numbers (I share an instance with Kolanaki) our old home was shut down a few months ago.

Do you know if they will keep a read only version up?

I think I've seen this with audio for both.

The reason I ask is there have been a few posts recently of artists with a DNP request on their page, or on 621s DNP list already.

Does this instance as a whole have a stance on DNP lists, or is it up to each community?

I feel called out.

As a user level verification, I don't see a checkbox for post https://pawb.social/post/22913626 I'm on the default web interface. The post was marked as NSFW originally by some developer tools trickery.

Just as a hack, when creating a new post, most of the information is passed as parameters in the URL, you can ensure the NSFW flag is set for the front end by ensuring nsfw=true is one of the parameters in the request.

Digikey is my go-to. I hope they make it through.

From my poking around, Its a little more complicated. https://pawb.social/post/22913999/14927820. Its treated as NSFW, but some front ends don't add the visible tag. It is still possible to add the visible tag, but its not really obvious.

Similar to nitro for a user, but for a server as a whole. At various levels it add features to servers. Bigger files, more sticker slots, Banners, animated server icons, higher quality streaming, more options for invite links and how they appear...

In at least tickling and shinyyiff there is no easy way to toggle or set nsfw using the default web interface. The checkbox either doesn't load, or disappears immediately. For creating the post, nsfw=true can be manually added as a variable. I'd have to dig into the api to see if there is an easy way to toggle a post that has already been created. I don't know if this issue is a problem on apps or other front ends.

I'm noticing some errors on images hosted on pawb. https://pawb.social/pictrs/image/b89180dc-38dd-4fe0-8104-65491ef6a177.png?format=webp&thumbnail=256 fails with a sled error, IO error: Os { code: 112, kind: Uncategorized, message: "Host is down" }, but the raw image https://pawb.social/pictrs/image/b89180dc-38dd-4fe0-8104-65491ef6a177.png works. the avatar on my profile page is broken, but is present on comments and such. @[email protected]

During his brief unemployment, he explored opportunities flying for a private firefighting company – and still would not rule out leaving NOAA. He remains angry that fellow veterans were caught up in the layoffs.

He backed Trump due to the president's commitment to the rule of law, he said, but now Mr Ripp thinks Trump is flouting the correct procedures for reducing the federal workforce.

There is a default page there now, and whois seems to indicate the registration was updated today (Feb 20).

edit: whatever was up seems to be resolved. Its working again for me.

federation for yiffit has been turned off. if the fediverse was unaware of pawb before, Kolanaki will spread the word.

If there are any future updates, I will update here.

Edit: I have been logged out...

When creating or viewing posts from youtube, the site_metadata endpoint returns nothing. I think this might be a lemmy bug, and not specific to this instance. lemmy.world shows the same behavior, lemmy.blahaj.zone and yiffit.net both return data.

Whether it be social media use or access to pornography, are there valid studies that have looked into this? I feel like I've only seen anecdotes, or "inappropriate for children", but no evidence, studies, or journals to support this claim.

A character-centric comedy about an unfortunately friendly demon and the apathetic highschooler he's supposed to be haunting.

And after over 10 years you can watch a part 2.
