they do this every few years or so. they hire more than they need, wait a bit, then fire the "low performers". rinse and repeat as desired

i would relax in my new Tardis, with all the needed luxuries, and take that in for a while. take care of me

it's not enough that people are poor, they need to be forced to suffer as well

ok, I'll program a HUD with an inventory. to start everyone gets 5 slots to hold stuff

be wonderful to be able to cut your car instead of park it, then paste when you're ready to go.

sounds perfect. it's like your experience here was real life Castlevania. what could be better?

"fake oppression" as she does her best to oppress them

except only loosing 568m is just "the price of doing business" for them and it's not much of a deterrent to make them stop. they made more than that by doing this so it's still a net profit

Open up your Android phone’s Settings app and you’ll find dozens of different options with little guidance on what those options do. Some of these settings have a serious impact on your privacy and security, altering what data gets shared automatically with apps, data brokers, and Google itself.

What sorts of changes you should make depends on how you use your phone and your security plan. There is no one-size-fits-all collection of recommended settings to change. Instead, we’ll explain what settings do to help you decide if they’re worth altering. This guide cannot cover everything, so for a deeper dive, check out our Privacy Breakdown of Mobile Phones guide.

Windows stopped including a codec to play DVDs a couple versions ago. what's a good way of still playing them on Windows 10 or 11?

i own DVDs but I'm looking for software options that work. VLC doesn't unless i get that missing codec, etc

edit: everyone is stopping that VLC can do it with no extra requirements. it didn't work before but I'll try again

the government has claimed that law enforcement agencies do not need a warrant to sift through [previously collected data]. EFF argued for over a decade that this is unconstitutional, and now a federal court agrees with us.

can this be a setting in our profiles? I hate leaving and having to come back. if for no other reason than it might lower page loads a little bit

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1dAW_d8rN9tfTYrV9NPzc8FjXcm7HJ3NhJzRCbSSgEww/edit?usp=sharing

it's a 4 day schedule with big emphasis on chest/back which is twice a week (1 day that's chest heavy and the other is back heavy)

the remaining 2 days are arms and legs days with one day being squat/quad focused and the other being a deadlift/glute+ham focus.

I have been doing asynchronous splits for a couple years now (that means I rotate through the days without paying attention to what day of the week it is) I won't necessarily do only 4 days a week and will workout anywhere from 4-6 days just cycling through the plan.

I'll bump the weight on individual movements whenever I have pushed the previous weight through the rep ranges.

like a lot of us, I'm new here. i will try to learn what options are available and fill this up with some basic info to get people started.

for now, let's chat about routines, goals, exercise selection, etc
