Dropped a Belgian endive casserole, crusty ham and cheese side down. Made it as a side dish. We laughed how stupid I am and then I took the spinache and cream out of the freezer to get some sort of vegetable quick on the table.

Same for me, noticed last post (I have a lot of blocked stuff) was 20 hours ago

OG version covered by the Rolling Stones and UB-40.

Beautiful picture. I have seen two Grey Herons today. We call them Blauwe Reigers, which translates to Blue Heron. Quite confusing. One was juvinile sitting up a tree believe it or not and the other was hunting next to a small pond covered with reeds.

Lamb ribs, Lebanese rice with vermicelli and haricots verts tonight.

Rest in peace man...live on Parkpop here in the Netherlands, for me...Legend.

Let's get that weekend party starting with mo boogie

John Valentine Carruthers on guitars on the Timderbox album…underrated guitar player

Dutch progressive rock band, sound I grew up with. They have a couple of songs I like.

Walked all day in the burning sun, now I know what it's like to be Born to Run

From the Kingdom of the Crimson King.

From their album Discipline. I love that album, songs like Elephant Talk,Thela Hun Ginjeet...am an admirer of Adrian Belew (Zappa, Talking Heads).

Moroccon friends came over Friday night so I served a meal with a little Maghreb twist.

With the above I served a combo of coleslaw and Dutch wintersalad with bell pepper, cucumber, tomato and cornsalad. Carrot and haricots vert. Spicy olives with peppers, pepper sauce, cauliflower, kohlrabi, gurken and carrots. 4 kinds of beans with Méditerranée herbs and spice.

Lamb stew I cooked for 3 hours with dades, mint and ginger bread. Shoarma out of the airfryer.

Bassline sounds a lot like the one in Inner City Blues by Marvin Gaye...but it is slightly different. Sampled from the Reuben Wilson cover.

Instead of the studio version, this one. Shadows yeah...
