Looks dope. Very nice motif for this type of style.

Technically correct, but that's not how it's actually used. Gigabit is not used in any meaningful context outside of as a measure of data transfer rates.

Because gigabytes (GB) are units of storage capacity, and gigabits (Gb) are units of data transfer rate.

It's implied it's gigabits per second, as no one ever really measures it in like... Gigabits per hour, or year.

We pay 4.58€ for 1gbit/1gbit fiber in our condo association in Sweden...

If he did it, I can see how some people can defend him (myself not included), but the point is that we don't know if he did it, and the media has sort of framed this like it's a done deal when that doesn't really seem to be the case.

That alone is worth little injustice to avoid the potential cringe.

You could've avoided the cringe that is your comment by withholding it.

Alright then...

"How fat is Kim Jong Un?" is the (predictable) question.

Dark Souls 2 was made by a different team than the other souls games, so it's kind of like somebody else's take on the formula, in a way.

It introduced a bunch of stuff that wasn't (and in some cases still aren't) in the others.

I played it when it first came out and loved it. Played the DLCs, loved them, and then again when the Scholar of the First Sin edition came out.

The latter is definitely what you should play if you liked the others.

It's really not the same thing as the original release, oddly. It also includes the three absolutely phenomenal DLCs as well.

Definitely looking for the same.

I've seen some metal communities (mostly death- and black metal), but generally it's mostly just people posting links to songs, so not much discussion going on.

I agree with the sentiment as to the futility of the doomer/nihilist mindset, being a reformed (or rather, being in the process of reforming) doomer nihilist myself, I know the call of the void all to well. However...

It's not just the USA declining - it's really everywhere. Call it whatever you want, late-stage capitalism, the rise of the techbroligarchy and fascism-adjacent currents, etc...

But there's stuff going on. It's harder to get a job, harder to get an education, harder to earn a living wage, harder to get ahead in general. And it's everywhere.

Mostly money. It's like 38€/$39/£30. On a extremely tight budget, and since covid, concert tickets have skyrocketed and never went down, hmm...

But I think you might've convinced me!

Thinking of seeing them (with Oranssi Pazuzu!) in Stockholm in May, although it'd mostly be for Oranssi Pazuzu, so I checked out some songs, and it's definitely the kind of stoner doom I like.

Good live band, apparently.

One of the heaviest touring bands out there right now (possibly ever).

Life-altering video for me.

The frontman (Ethan Lee McCarthy) doesn't get enough credit and is a huge inspiration in a multitude of ways.

I wish they'd come back and put out another album. There's nothing like them.

I really wish they'd put out another record. If anything, I wish someone had the balls to rip them off and make more similar stuff, heh.
