Why is there no piracytube? If anyone watches smth from youtube, they automatically seed them. And it shares videos via p2p. If you wanna support the creator, almost all have patreon or smth.

This is already happening in the world (especially Germany). Thats the exact business proposal for Palantir. NRW, Bavaria , and Baden Würtemberg all already signed contracts with them.

My own conspiracy theory is that, apple introduced fingerprint or face scanners right after that that lawsuit.

The US government has the ability to access any info from US companies. Most likely they can recreate devices. And to unlock, they just need face id or fingerprints both of which the government collects on every citizen.

Legally they don't need consent to have our biometric data but for passwords and pattern, they need it.

Whats insulting to victims is how nazis got trials and went on to work in USA, on the account of being white. Meanwhile, hamas "terrorists" gets bombed along with their family, neighbors and the whole fuckin city with IDF playing judge jury and executioner.

Raising concern for an ongoing genocide shouldn't offend anyone but the complicit.

Whats more is that, anyone who creates a server can scrape all the data on fediverse. It's every AI company's wet dream.

And any comment you delete will still be visible to server admin.

Lemmy currently does have these privacy issues

I usually have my location disabled all the time, but thats a good idea. Im pretty sure there should be some kind of logs that mention location history or smth.

As for CalyxOS, its a custom ROM that advertises themselves as privacy friendly so I am assuming their defaults would be privacy friendly.

The videos in question were about badminton, because he went to play badminton and he was looking online for tutorials. He is also into MMA and I am now getting those as well.

Let's say someone did buy data on us, we are good friends so they would know about our connection.

But I still don't understand how could they connect my real identity to my pixel 3a? Considering I never put my sim or logged into google on it after flashing with Calyx.

I want to research if SurfShark themselves collect some kind of data cuz I am using their app rather than some wireguard/ovpn profile.

So I decided to use my really old pixel 3a as a test of sorts. It has calyxos, with always on VPN (surfshark). I have no accounts on it, google or anything else. I usually use it for streamio or tiktok.

But I have noticed that I am still getting video recommendations based on what my flatmate watches (we share an internet router). Or what I watch on my other non-VPNed devices.

So what gives?

I am looking for an explanation as to why its happening, not just how to fix it. Btw I also use private DNS so dns leaking is not the likely culprit.

Anyone knows how to debug this info leak?

Imagine if someone writes a malicious extension and now with this, they will also have access to entire chat history.

Basically the government has been taken over by the fascist military, foreign reserves are already non existent, Pakistan is one of those countries who asks the IMF for a loan every few years, inflation is rising and the bill for electricity is going through the roof cuz god knows how they calculate it. Not to mention, it also has a huuuuge load shedding issue which means it's not uncommon to lose electricity for 6-12 hours everyday and now Pakistan also has natural gas load shedding.

Soooooooooo, these solar systems pay back their investment much much earlier than other countries I think. Keep in mind that people already don't waste electricity or water or gas cuz of load shedding and high prices. So it's considerably cheaper to move houses to fully solar.

It's funny how much wastage is there in western countries, iirc the carbon footprint of the average person in a third world country is roughly 10 times lower than developed countries.

You know there was a mad king who tried to do the same?

Babies just end up dying if not talked to. He also wanted to figure out the language of gods

Adding on to it, the structure/shape of our ears are also unique. So if anyone loses their ear and get an implant, it takes them some time before they can fully get accustomed to it

Hi, I am taking part in a research project and for that I need to conduct a very small survey. It is about the daily challenges faced by parents raising children who struggle with ADHD and aggressive behavior. My goal is to better understand the specific difficulties families encounter, so we can identify and develop more effective resources and support.

We are currently in the very early phase where we conduct this survey and later, me and my team will be working towards creating a technical solution (most likely an app) for emotional fitness and mental health for this.

Thanks in advance for taking the time in filling out the survey.

Here are the questions:

  1. What are the most challenging moments or behaviors you encounter with your child on a typical day?

  2. How does your child's ADHD and aggression impact their relationships with you, their siblings, friends, or classmates?

  3. What strategies or methods have you tried to manage your child's aggressive behavior, and how effective have they been?

  4. How does your child's condition affect your personal life, mental health, and/or relationships with others?

  5. What resources, support systems, or information do you feel would help you most in managing your child's challenges?

Keep in mind that, it is obviously anonymous and you don't have to answer all the questions, just as much as you can answer. So no pressure!
