@noxypaws @WabePoliticsNewsBot Trump and the cult *want* violence. For him, it helps escalate his power grab; for them, it justifies their hatred.
And don't forget, they like to talk about "paid protestors"; it's quite possible (probable?) that a right-wing agitator is doing exactly that. 🤔

@WabePoliticsNewsBot It is, currently, a waste of time and quite possibly counterproductive. The action cannot succeed and serves only to feed Trumpty's "they're out to get me" narrative.
It has been a fairly common norm to only introduce legislation after ascertaining (through private canvassing) there is sufficient support to pass .. or, sometimes, to "make a point" when passage is clearly off the table. Here, the latter is true, but there is no real point to be made. Two attempts to impeach Trump have been tried and both failed. A third will do the same. Trump's cult revels in his "bad boy" image and this will do nothing but strengthen their cause.
What is needed is some serious discussions across the aisle about the destruction of the American system. A reminder that if Trump fails to get his lifetime appointment, the next might be a leftist and the ground has been sowed. (Then again this might actually scare them into actually election Trumpty king 😕).
@WabePoliticsNewsBot Unless you can make inroads into changing the mind of the cultists, I fear the "fight" will backfire. 😕
@WabePoliticsNewsBot It is sickening how the GOP continuously cuts taxes, mostly for the already wealthy, and then later blames the deficit on spending and "inefficiency".
We don't need to cut taxes. If anything, we should roll back the tax cuts until we've made a real dent in the deficit.
Trump's ideology is Trump. He is terribly insecure and requires constant affirmation of his strength and virility. Hence, a bully. But now a bully with an army.
@disguy_ovahea @WabePoliticsNewsBot The GOP won't attend the reading .. and than still say "I didn't realize it would do that".
