That's my point. USSR and the CCP have arguably permanently damaged the communism "brand".

And you talked to russians, things were even worse for nations occupied by the russians.

Ghost of War (2020) - Decent WW2 Nazi occult horror that turned out to be somewhat unique. It's not a great movie, but I think fans of horror/thrillers will enjoy it.

Les Visiteurs (1993) - French comedy from my childhood with Christian Claver and Jean Reno. A fun middle ages to the 90s time travel comedy. A little stupid at times, but funny and wholesome.

Orion's Key (1996) - A dumb scifi-action b-movie about an alien artifact found in Africa. I enjoyed it, but I would only recommend it if you like sci-fi and 90s b-movies.

Zootopia 1 was a cool movie, hopefully the sequel will be at least as good.

It's not only decades of propaganda.

Whether you like it or not, but many countries have suffered enourmosly (genocides, extermination of local language and culture) under the banner of regimes that claimed to represent communist ideals and allegedly aimed to develop a communist society.

I was born in the tail end of the USSR, so I honestly don't really remember it. But from the stories of my parents and relatives, it was trash.

You can't just dismiss the association between the USSR and attempts at achieving communism.

Sandler is back! Surprised this was so popular.

The OG Happy Gilmore is fun (rewatched it a few years ago), but I can't imagine watching a sequel (and I am not going to watch it).

Good for Sandler though!

All four are excellent horror movies, I would particularly recommend The Empty Man because it's less well known and it's fun experience.

Those 3 movies all high up my favourite horror movies rankings. :)

I just realized he is 51 years old. I always associate Graham with Snatch (although I like several other movies he's been in); he was 27 when it was released!

Favourite: Scifi horror, horror with an isolated group, found footage

Least favourite: horror comedy (with some notable exceptions); I would rather watch a regular comedy. Some slashers are cool, but I tend to like slashers less than other horror styles.

I am a big Eddie Murphy fan. I even like Pluto Nash (in a so bad it's good way).

I can't see this working.

I was in a similar situation, to my knowledge, recheck is the only option.
