While I haven't seen Supernatural (might have to check it out), by 2005 I had seen a lot of the classics and some of the more modern releases (I was in my mid-teens then).

Honestly, if you are going the Linux route, you might as well get a headless Linux setup (no GUI, just command line), install qbittorrent-nox and access qbitborrent via the webUI.

You will save a massive amount of RAM, desk space and probably even CPU time.

It's solid entertainment if you're are into horror, it's lofi, but fun.

There are always other (relatively accessible) sources if no can be bothered to offer the movie. And also DVDs and Bluerays.

I watched 28 Years Later at home a few days ago.

I can’t seem to make up my mind about 28 Years Later. It wasn’t bad by any means, but there were definitely issues with the movie.

I will start with the undeniably good things. Excellent cinematography. So many beautiful shots. I also liked that they tried to do something different. It’s good that they didn’t just make a predictable sequel (even if it would’ve been fun).

I found many of the plot elements to be distracting. The alpha concept seemed tacked on. I didn’t like the “young adult” concept, seemed unbelievable for a 12 year old to act in this way.

Not sure what to make of the humourous elements, they were clearly there by design (satire?). I laughed when the kid put his mother’s skull on the skull pile.

For some reason I get the feeling 28 Years Later will get more appreciation with time. I might be wrong though.

Never heard about this. I like historical 60s and 70s movies (less so contemporary ones; for the time). Might have to check it out.

Oh wow, didn't know it was coming soon.

I just bought a copy of the second book, need to figure out whether I want to power through it before season 3 starts.

This is a good resource if you curate/mod smaller communities (or even mid-sized ones).

Don't know what country you are in, but it might be worth considering try to get the torrent without a VPN.

Chances are if it's extremely rare/obscure stuff, it's not going to be tracked by a copyright enforcement agency.

I mean there is clearly a demand for it.

I am not a big Star Wars fan and haven't seen any of the recent stuff. I would watch Star Wars: A New Hope in the cinema.

I've watched South Park before, mostly stuff from the 90s and 2000s. Some episodes are really funny and well made. It's rare that I remember an episode name for series, but "Scott Tenorman Must Die" is an all time classic.

I eventually tuned out (other than occasional episodes) and as it got a bit samey and IMO they always had a lot of filler/badly made episodes (even in the 90s/2000s). Trying too hard to be edgy.

I was just curious about their most recent output. I am going to check it out. Another user mentioned that if they felt their recent output was closer to earlier stuff from the 90s and 2000s.
