Fully agree! I just learned about https://fedi-search.com/. I'm going to start using it.

That was a good deal. Are you at all concerned about the "power on time" when you buy used?

Would you mind sharing where you buy drives this cheap? I'm looking to buy some.

Try blender. I use it for CAD.

Publii is a good alternative.

Why "other than depositing a check remotely"? Depositing a check remotely is the reason I have to use my bank's mobile app.

I'm just learning about all this. Looks like P2P is what I want. Thanks

I wanted to try paying for Mullvad VPN using a private method (Monero). I created a wallet and went to an exchange (Kraken) to buy some XMR, but they want me to enter all my personal details upon registration. How does this make sense? Is there an exchange where I don't have to provide personally identifying information?

I stopped using the task management features of Org mode and I wanted to use Apache mod_markdown to view my notes when on a mobile device. I like how simple markdown is. It's all I need for notes. Denote is great for keeping organized.

After many years of Org-mode, I've settled on Emacs Denote with a git repo of markdown files, paired with a paper bullet journal.

I use GnuCash for two companies and personal accounting. Love it.

I only needed one more item to "unlock extra savings up to 15%", so I added an extra item to see what the savings would be. I didn't think the savings matched what was advertised, so I removed an item to see what the difference was (making sure to screenshot before/after this time). Turns out the price of 3 out of 4 items is the same after an extra 5% discount.
