Hahah, yeah, don’t know, just how I was raised I guess. My fridge came with one of those egg racks and I like having them out the box ready-to-go, plus it doesn’t harm them and they should stay fresher for marginally longer.

Edit: Also probably helps my heat gradient on those perfect runny yolks but set whites!

Haha, yeah totally get that! Also, how did I forget poached!! Okay, those tie over-easy for me

Lol, 60g healthy european chonkers, straight from the fridge into boiling water, then ice bath right after (if more than 2-3 eggs i’ll go a tad shorter because of post-cook thermal load)

Whites firm and yolks perfectly runny, sliced in two with maldon salt to top. Perfection in two bites.

Don’t discriminate based on entropy level, but each level has a best in class:

Low: Soft boiled (8:30 sec)

Medium: Over easy

High: Propper fluffy scramble (10% butter, constant whisk)

NTA/At least don’t sound like the asshole from what you’ve shared. As always, nr 1 advice is “don’t take advice from the internet or people who don’t truly know your situation”.

That being said, I believe relationships are about mutual respect and even adoration, which it sounds like might not abound in your relationship. I’d say his reaction to your asking for more affection is a red flag, that being said maybe there’s a chance he was getting defensive or may have misunderstood your point which might mean you can overcome it together. In my experience these types of discussions have to take place in a safe space where mutual respect has been established, like first talking earnestly about how you feel about each other and then proceeding to how you can make each other even happier.

But yeah, nobody here knows your situation well enough to render judgement, as always, barring you two establishing a healthy method of communication around these things, seeking professional help should be the only real consideration.

100% better to know out of the gate if they’re going to judge or have an opinion. Most react really well and if you sprinkle in some humour it’s a good opportunity for some honest bonding.

(Click saving) this guy (and myself) move the potatoes to another ceramic, add celery to the carrot-onion mix & chop that and leave it under the roast

I’d go so far as to venture a guess and say this particular individual wouldn’t like any skin colour darker than Marine Le Pen’s bleached asshole…

Ooh shit dude/tte, that’s awesome! Get it going as open source and post it somewhere for people to make PRs to (I’m not in a place to do so myself, but there’s bound to be others thinking the same as us)!

Surprise surprise, very well-known, solved, problem with endless coverage online is solvable by models trained on the internet..

Wait, we can actually discuss studies with a critical eye here? Cause I made a similar comment in another vegan community elsewhere and got silenced.

It kinda sucked because I’m very much in favour of plant-based diets and I’m always excited to read proper good studies on full veganism and how we can reduce meat consumption.

Absolutely, but that’s the easy case, computerphile had this interesting video discussing a proof of concept exploration which showed that indirectly including stuff in the training/accessible data could also lead to such behaviours. Take it with a grain of salt cause it’s obviously a bit alarmist, but very interesting nonetheless!

Used this serious eats recipe, love their detailed explanations of each step.

Didn’t have whole wheat so subbed with all purpose. Will probably add more salt next time (but we’re salt fiends)

Finally, don’t have a pizza steel/stone so just used an upside down ceramic at 245-250°C

Also, sorry, only snapped this one pic when I saw it blow up. Sadly, once baked every single one got devoured before another pic could capture the crumb.
