I've been using Loki and promtail for containers I actually care about aggregating logs for. It's something relatively new for me but so far the experience has been positive.

That we’ve been to the moon - in there 60s - but haven’t been back or been out further. I think it would just be against all their expectations.

I ride a newish KLX300 that I haven’t had any problems with yet. Today I decided to go on a quick after work ride to the canyon near my house. The canyon’s mostly dirt roads and gets rough near the top.

As I was working my way slowly over a rough patch the bike suddenly shut off. The engine died and the instrument panel lost power. The bike is EFI so I figure I lost electricity which caused the engine to die as well.

I checked what I could like fuses and obvious connections that might have come loose. I ended up catching a ride down the canyon and went back up later to trailer the bike down.

My initial suspicion is that the battery lost charge. I figure this could be due to a bad battery or a bad stator. Any tips on how to determine if the stator is bad? I’m hoping to go over things with a multi meter now that I’ve got the bike home.

I’ve blocked a few communities here and there. Not a bad way to control what content you’ll see personally.

Surely there has to be more going on here. Prigozhin turning around, exile to Belarus, and now this doesn't make sense with what's been publicly reported.

I’ve had SSDs go bad. So if it’s something you really care about I’d approach it the same as hard disks.

Why is beehaw so high?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

I’ve never heard of it before. I’ll have to try it out on my next project!

I would second this. A normal tower with a high quality psu and 5 drives is what I use for cheap storage. Obviously more failure prone than true enterprise hardware but a hell of a lot cheaper.

I'll have to try out some ereader apps. I had this thought a few weeks ago but didn't find any free apps in the little bit of looking I did. I'll take a look at those you suggested.
