but assuming you live in "the west" and go to social gatherings and you're not a nazi, sex-pest or expecting "porn sex" it shouldn't be a problem. Remember that the bar is incredibly low at this point, at least for men. Like, if you're in your 30s, brush your own teeth, wash your ass with soap, you're basically above average.
Well, I do all those good things and don't do any of those bad things. Only thing I'm missing is "go to social gatherings" 'cause there's nowhere for me to go. lol

yeah, it's still around, and surprisingly accessible given what literally every other dating site/app has become.
nonetheless it has been slightly enshittified in terms of limiting people's interactions with the site if they don't pay. just not as badly as other sites.
I'd say chances are probably pretty high of it goin up, especially if you are looking!

yeah, it's been a few years for me. I've re-watched the series like a dozen times, but I think I can give it another run.
People's lack of time and money doesn't help, nor the ideal of assigning value to people based upon income level.
yeah, knowing that my value in a lot of people's eyes is tied to my income level sucks and is discouraging, especially wrt the dating/romance/sex world
Finding a common i interest group can help.
I've considered that, but there isn't much in my city and traveling to a real city is very difficult. I honestly just need to find a way to move.

Personally, I'm in my mid 30's and been all alone since I was a teenager. I'm really tired of it but I'm not good at meeting people and there's so few ways to even do that anymore (other than go to a bar and hope I fit in with people there?)
