The username thing is the one lingering question I have not seen answered as well. I suspect there's just going to be duplicate people.

They're too cheap. I'm sure they'll just replace you guys with less effective and active mods while the site just slowly smolders into a shadow of its former self.

You nailed it. Stalin pushed a cultural and physical genocide in order to subjugate the Ukranian people. He pushed the narrative that they were not an independent nation or nationality hence "the ukraine" not Ukraine.
