TikTok is not representative and neither is any other social media platform. There's always two things to consider: The target group and the algorhithm. Both are far from being representative for humanity. Heck, the algorithm even prefers things that evoke negative emotions, because that way you're gonna spend more time on their platform and they can sell more ads.

I might be dumb, sorry.

I think you meant 9 seconds. 9 seconds are alright.

Did you read the article?

The regulation of the European Parliament and the Council will apply to all batteries including all waste portable batteries, electric vehicle batteries, industrial batteries, starting, lightning and ignition (SLI) batteries (used mostly for vehicles and machinery) and batteries for light means of transport (e.g. electric bikes, e-mopeds, e-scooters).

Things like phones or wireless earbuds are not included.

Windows actually has this function in the sound settings. I tried it once, but it was way too harsh. It basically removed the entire dynamics, which is pretty bad in its own way. I tried the feature quite some time ago, so maybe it's better now, I don't know.

It's true, but not because your skull acts like an antenna. It's because the signal is being reflected by the skull. You can actually just try it out, the range of your car keys will extend when you hold them to your chin.

There is a lot that goes in to sound engineering in order to make a movie going experience really good. Basically the sound is engineered to sound really good on the 100ish channels that movie theaters have, but when going to a home they have to crunch all that down to work with a 2.1 or 5.1 etc and there is inevitably loss due to overlapping frequencies and even immersive aspects. How can a voice seem to be as loud as an explosion for example.

A simple sound compression of the entire signal would solve the issue. VLC player has this feature and it's working perfectly.

Wie sollte es auch anders sein, wenn die halbe Welt Inflationsbedingt den Gürtel enger schnallen muss?
