Ahhh I didn’t get into the beta for Memmy, it’s already closed. Another app I use is missing a section for your own comments completely. I’m currently trying out Mlem, Thunder and Liftoff!.

Moving to new platforms/3rd party apps has made me realise everyone else has something against collapsing child comments. in c/mildlyinfuriating@lemmy.world

In the few weeks I’ve been trying some apps, the devs have added so much. It’s only going to get better. The apps are still in TestFlight.

I’m used to seeing the post title, then the content, then the community and user and votes and whatnot. Having the title under the post means my eyes are going down over the content to the title, then back up to the content or maybe to the community/user then the content. I feel having title, content, info is more ergonomic.

The Memmy beta is full already. They are waiting for AppStore approval and then you can download it. I’m using Mlem at the moment. It’s got a great UI that also has an Apollo feel to it.

You get all sorts of people paintballing. You normally stick in little groups anyway so being 2 is good. There are people who are good/better but most of the time they know they’re better. Just make sure you put your hands up when you’re shot. Whoever shoots me after my hands are up gets a few choice words.
