There is a strong movement to hold a constitutional convention before the next election. It is backed by a right wing group called ALEC. They think they have a loophole to make it happen and the new speaker of the house backs the idea. I think if they had a wider majority it would already be happening. They will rewrite the rules to ensure a hard right anti-civil rights candidate wins.
There is always the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Or Satan worship. Or pink unicorns. The letter did say you could pick any God you wanted.
I hate fixing other people's code. It is one of the reasons I don't like letting an AI write my code first draft either.
It seems like this bill assumes 1 driver per car and 1 car per driver. There are plenty of folks who share a car, and plenty of folks who own more than one. Also would the sensor know if you are driving on an icy road or with low visibility due to dense fog? Would it suddenly shut you car off in the middle of winter and leave you to freeze to death?

I've got a whole drawer full of pocket knives. I've been carrying one or another for decades. These days I'm partial to the Rough Rider brand. They are quality knives, but cheap enough that if you lose or break it, no big deal.
My son really wanted a Swiss army knife when he graduated high school. I got him a really fancy one with many many features. He loved it. It was closer to your price point. I ordered it direct from Victorinox.
Another possibility is to steer him towards knife making. See if there are blacksmithing classes near you and sign him up for lessons.

When he was CEO his travel budget was over $1M per year. I always wondered about why he needed to travel so much, and how he could still do CEO stuff too. He was legendary for his flashy cars, wanton disregard for traffic laws, hatred of anyone he deemed unattractive (to the point of firing them), and insistence you listen to hip hop all day while you worked.
Didn't he get convicted of fraud for "Trump University" already?
