Heh they block VPNs, Tor and that type of stuff in Saudi. They block wireguard in Jordan, at least according to my friend there lol

Awesome, the middle east has tons of censorship so this will help tons of people. There are many blocked websites in my country and my friends' nations.

And while many block VPNs directly i highly doubt they'll block cloudflare or github, so this should be very hard to prevent.

Hey m@tes (this still has not grown on me 🥲) I created this community to submit custom emojis. This is not official since I'm doing this for fun, and the other admins didn't take part in this. [email protected]

Just post an emoji and I'll add it lol (only if it doesn't break the rules

That's it. This is a very small thing but I think it could be fun, have a good day/night everyone.

Fixing application tab (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

Hi, I love the fact I can resolve reports and do [most] of my admin stuff from summit, but applications are impossible to do even is they're implemented.

The two problems are that I can't see the full text, and there's no rejection template (look at how tesseract does it for example)

Thank you!

So... It's been like three weeks since i last posted (i forgot 🫠) but i'll try to not miss these threads anymore.

Hello m@teys,

I've been waiting for this a long time (half a year), personally. After seeing the surge in piefed instances, i.e. blahaj, .ca, .zip, quokk.au, and .world creating their own instances, and clients guaranteeing future piefed support, we've been thinking about potentially opening an instance in the future. Not a guarantee, just an idea. This isn't a voting thread, just a discussion. Later on we'll actually vote on this.

Do note that this thread will not guarantee an instance; we are discussing a hypothetical. Suggestions? Ideas? Criticisms? make your voice heard.

Have a good week!

"The poll also found that nearly two thirds of Britons (65 percent) want the UK to implement the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he were to visit the UK."

According to the NGOs, the findings show “growing public pressure for legal accountability and a decisive government response”.
