When Sonos first came out, they had this really easy to use, standalone device. It had a track wheel like the old iPods, buttons, and a color display. That made it easy for non-tech people to browse and choose what to play. Then they decided to drop that and go the app route. It's been downhill ever since.

If it lands on earth without problems, Boeing will claim that it had been maligned all along. If it blows up on reentry, Boeing will claim that NASA made them leave it parked in space much longer than designed.

Best option is if it 'accidentally' veers toward Mars and sends back a ton of useful telemetry.

They can go the route of The Onion and sell annual memberships. People will pay if it offers value and keeps ads out.

Found Valentina in a small supermarket that specialized in food from Mexico. Had read an article that said it was the most popular hot sauce in the country. Great flavor, good price, and not too hot for the wimpiest in our household (me). Use it daily.

It's too bad the City hasn't figured out what to do with mid-Market buildings since the pandemic. Before Twitter moved in, the place was a dead zone. For a few years there was activity, but it's slowly turning back into an area you quickly walk through on your way somewhere else.

If starting out: on web, Python and Typescript will take you far. On mobile, Swift and Kotlin. On Windows/Mac, C# and Swift. You're on your own for Linux desktop.

  • Help coach a kid's sports league.
  • Volunteer at the local library or senior home.
  • Help clean roads / rivers / environment.
  • Learn mixology and become a bartender at a local hangout.
  • Pick up exercise/sports and look for others into it. Baseball, bowling, running, hunting, hiking, biking, flag football, etc.
  • Tutor ESL.

There are lots of ways to connect with others without having to spend a lot of money. As long as you go in without an expectation of a specific outcome. Just go with the flow, be open to new experiences, and see what happens.

Grandmother died a while ago of this type of lung cancer. Be great if nobody else got it.
