I don't, no, sorry.

Maybe try asking in [email protected] ? The people there are not like us, but they are (probably) not to be feared.

PieFed is just a Fediverse platform that aims to inter-op with Lemmy in much the same way that it aims to inter-op with any other Group-based platform (MBIN, PeerTube, NodeBB, Wordpress).

Lemmy's "quirks" are the reason why your account won't see Polls from MBIN, or channels from PeerTube, or posts from NodeBB, or backfilled content from Wordpress.

It's not my intent to criticise Lemmy, but these are verifiable problems, whereas it doesn't seem fair to criticise PieFed for problems that you can't clearly remember.

Account -> Activity Alerts will show you everything for which you'll get a notification.

Apart from using the word 'dragon', I couldn't see anything about their account that indicates it's an alt. They used 'I' as a pronoun in this comment.

Maybe 23 days ago a mod saw something different.

I've already watched it too much (I only had to see that thumbnail to think "What, no love for Nurchi?") - I'm just pleasantly surprised that it's also available outside the US.

I watched a TV show called 'Justified: City Primeval' - it's not very good, but something I found weird was how often the characters mentioned each other's race I'm from the UK, so maybe it was just badly written, or maybe Americans do actually talk like that.

Well, they should have put the pic of the male on the left and the female on the right then, just so they're not adding to any possible "confusion".

Fair enough. I guess it's up to individual admins to assess whether the pros outweigh the cons for that bot.

It's subtly different though. This is essentially providing an auto-complete to community searching, whether your instance already has a copy of the community or not. It would work even for a brand-new instance that hadn't subscribed to anything yet.

What that bot is doing isn't necessarily a good thing (if no real person is subscribed to something, then all the traffic is just pollution). 3rd party hacks can't compete with actually-integrated features.

There's a Lemmy community at [email protected] (although I've found that chatting about TV is harder than it looks).

The wrong instance is in that Mention, so maybe there was an auto-complete error.
