It's not about them. It's the children who find the spent ammo later.

This crap is the reason that there are birth defects spikes anywhere the US military operates.

Because if you get convicted of murder, you go to jail for a long period of time and never really make much money again, even if you get out.

Their child support payments would be like 16.53 per month.

This. I can accept some fundamental truths underlying the ideas presented in religion, but I've only ever seen them corrupted to bludgeon people into obeying. Which is exactly the opposite of the intended message.

Either it's all fake, or it's being abused by evil people. Either way, I want no part in it

They're asking you why you felt the need to "both sides" this as if Biden and desantis aren't listening to experts/playing politics, while Biden is doing everything correctly. It's disingenuous to act like the one person who is doing the right thing also needs to work on doing better, while the other is actively making it worse and trying to blame everyone but himself.

100%, but I don't want to hear this from republicans who vote for idiots with no qualifications anyway.

Anything that keeps them off center enough that they can't make their normal hypocritical bad faith arguments is fine in my book.

They should have to carry malpractice insurance

Agree completely, but hear me out. It's politically difficult to ask ranchers and farmers to do anything. Like historically, a lot of our domestic policy centers around keeping them happy - the idea being that they are providing such a vital service that we don't want to mess with them much.

That's why Bundy thought he was going to get away with free grazing forever, and why huge swathes of homestead were granted a few hundred years ago - gotta get people turning dirt into food/money.

So even if this is primarily anti-foreign, it still provides a sorely needed example of legislation that could pass, and then the practice in bureaucracy needed to enforce it. It can be expanded. Let them pass this, and then lobby and advocate for adding groups to it in future legislative sessions.

Oh my God he is going to finally get his ratings.

I cannot wait to hear the reaction when he realizes no one tuned in to watch him get crowned but a ton of people wanted to watch him get bracelets.

Depends on the provider. As with all things, some people are just phoning it in, while other people are passionate about their work and want outcomes that reflect well on their abilities.

If you ever find yourself in a situation where you've got more money than you really know what to do with, just remember: keep your personal and business finances completely separate, make sure that your financial advisor is a fee-based fiduciary (unless you know what you're getting into), and interview people while remembering that their active employment is an ongoing interview. You can drop a consultant or advisor any time, so don't feel like you owe them loyalty if they aren't delivering what you need.

It is. But it's more fun to engage in meaningless pedantry than to just agree with someone. So here we are.

It is not physically addictive. If your life sucks and you use it to cope, you'll be cranky when you stop, same as if you used trash TV to cope but your cable goes out.

You cannot overdose on pot. You can try, and the worst that will happen is that you'll fall asleep. It is not dangerous on its own.

Don't like the schedule 4 distinction? Fine, pick another. But having it set to schedule 1, same as heroin and PCP, is insane and 100% politically motivated.

Their entire ecosystem is set up to encourage wink-wink-nudge-nudge plausible deniability.

The veneer of conformity is what they want. It gives Xerxes in 300, "The [left] demands that you stand but all I ask is that you kneel."
