I feel like an instance that hasn't had anything posted in a week in pretty much dead. Do you have any rules like that?
Way I see it the only reasons to use docker on nixos is if:
- you need many instances of the same service running on the same hw for some reason
- you're trying to run a service that's only packaged as a docker image
That said using nixos inside a docker container is an appealing proposition in that you get all the usual advantages of nix but can run it anywhere you can run docker images
I wouldn't say I'm a nihilist, I still care about sentient life and am also a vegetarian so can't really say I don't care about animals
Just in the grand scheme of things if the earth blew up tomorrow it's no biggie for the universe
Generally put those kind of issues out of my mind by just reminding myself it's out of my control anyway
That doesn't fit the definition of memory leak in my mind, had thought a memory leak was specifically when the program completely loses track of memory
