I haven't seen it mentioned it yet, Firewalla. I I've been running the Gold version myself for a couple of years now and it's been great.

I believe it was founded by ex-cisco engineers.

This is paired with Unifi switches/AP's.

Bought 8 16TB Ultrastars from them. Haven't had a single issue with them

First they charged more for auto pay if you used a credit card. Now they want to raise each line by $5. Took our lines and went with an MVNO that runs on T-Mobile and Verizon. Saving a lot of money and still great service/data.

I'm guessing lots of people are going to be doing the same thing. Just couldn't leave things be....Oh, and I canceled the included Netflix as well.

Yes, wireguard requires an open port. No security issues in the years I've had this setup.

Pihole on the home network and my phone has constant VPN connection to the home network via Wireguard.

Appears the reddit for Firewalla is still really active and I find myself going there for information. Would love to see more activity here.

I'm still a new Firewalla user at;1 week myself.
